Interesting form of appeal-to-authority fallacy.
- Kalium 11y agoSome people consider the person conveying a message an inextricable part of the message. I, personally, don't particularly agree. I think it's far more common for identity to be used as a cognitive shortcut by people looking to avoid engaging with and thinking about a message.
